CAN AN OUTSTANDING MEDICAL BILL AFFECT MY CREDIT WHILE MY INJURY CASE IS PENDING?
Attorney Tyson Mutrux describes in this video whether or not a medical bill can affect your credit even though your personal injury case is pending.
Hi! Tyson Mutrux here with Mutrux Finney, P.C.. Today I’m talking about whether or not a medical bill can affect your credit even though your personal injury case is pending.
The answer to that question is yes. However, if you have an attorney, we have a lot of tools that we can use to actually prevent that from happening. One of those is a letter of protection. We can send that to the provider. Do they have to actually abide by that? No, unless they put a lien on your case. If they put a lien on your case, that’s different and they’ll have to wait and they’re not going to be able to deal with your credit.
If you have other questions about that, give us a call at 888 550 4026 or check us at www.mutruxlaw.com. Thanks for watching. Have a great day.
