WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU’RE THE PASSENGER IN THE AT FAULT DRIVER’S VEHICLE IN A CAR CRASH?

Attorney Tyson Mutrux describes in this video what happens if you’re the passenger in the at-fault driver’s vehicle in a car crash?

Hi! Tyson Mutrux here with the Mutrux Law Firm. Today I want to talk about what happens if you’re a passenger in a vehicle of a driver that’s at fault for an auto accident. What happens there is you can go after the driver of the vehicle that you’re in. Now that allows you to recover up to the policy limits. If the other driver of the other vehicle is partially at fault, you can actually go after that driver as well. That’s why there are many times if there are multiple people in one vehicle, they should probably get separate attorneys because there are potential conflicts of interest. So, if you’re a passenger in a vehicle, you can potentially go after the vehicle you’re in and the other driver’s vehicle.
