Can I appeal my license suspension or revocation with the Missouri Department of Revenue
Attorney Tyson Mutrux describes in this video whether or not you can appeal your license suspension or revocation with the Missouri Department of Revenue.
Hi! Tyson Mutrux here with the Mutrux Law Firm. Today I’m answering the question of whether or not you can appeal your license suspension or revocation with the Missouri Department of Revenue.
The answer to that question is simply yes regardless of whether it is for DWI or for points or some other reason. Yes, you can appeal that, and typically how it works is you’ll receive notice from the Department of Revenue that your license will be suspended on a certain date and you will then file an appeal to the circuit court and you’ll have to file something that’s called a petition for review. I’ll handle this on another video, but the answer to the question is, “Yes, you can, but you must file it within the time allotted in the letter that you get from the Department of Revenue.”
If you have any other questions about that, give us a call at (888) 550-4026 or check us at www.mutruxlaw.com. Thanks for watching. Have a great day.
