Hard Work Pays Off Scholarship Recipients

Mutrux Firm Injury Lawyers is proud to support students who are determined to make themselves and the world a better place. Our commitment to this cause led us to create the Mutrux Firm Injury Lawyers Hard Work Pays Off Scholarship which awards one devoted student with $1,000 towards their education.

After reviewing the applications, we are proud to announce that Alexis Gonzalez won our 2022 scholarship award! Below is a short profile of our winner.

About Alexis:

“I am currently living in Austin, Texas with my spouse of three years, my two year old son, and German Shepherd. I am getting my Bachelors of Education in Social Studies Education 6-12 from Liberty University online and aspire to be a history teacher. I have always had a passion for education and love to teach others. I have previously worked with at-risk youth at an alternative school in Killeen, Texas. That is where I learned my passion for impacting young people and their educational experiences. I am currently working as a behavioral technician at an early intervention center for children with autism. I am very passionate about my job and am grateful to have the opportunity to make a difference in the little lives of the future.”

Her Reaction:

“I was absolutely shocked to hear back that I had won. I was scrolling through my email one night and saw that I had received the congratulations message. I felt so proud and so surprised. To know that other people will hear my story and the impact I am able to have by sharing it makes me feel very inspired. I knew this scholarship opportunity was definitely something I wanted to share my story through as I know it would reach other people who could be struggling the way I have. I am so grateful for this firm allowing me to experience this and continue to give others like me the same opportunity.”

As always, we thank Alexis and the countless other applicants who were kind enough to share their amazing stories. If this opportunity sounds relevant to you or a student you know, please check out our scholarship page for more details.
