Whether you can legally record someone

Attorney Tyson Mutrux describes in this video whether you can legally record someone

Hi! Tyson Mutrux here with the Mutrux Law Firm. Today I’m answering the question of whether or not you can record someone legally. The answer to that question is yes. However, the best practice is to get their permission. That’s going to prevent lawsuits down the road. It will also prevent cases like in Illinois where you’ll be charged with a felony for recording someone without their permission. So, in Missouri, yes, you can record someone; however, you have to always get their permission first. That’s the best practice.
