How Attorneys Fees Affect Property Damage Claims
Attorney Tyson Mutrux describes in this video How Attorneys Fees Affect Property Damage Claims
Hi, Tyson Mutrux of the Mutrux Law Firm. Right now I wanna discuss how attorneys fees in a personal injury case affect your property damage claim. Now, with Tyson Mutrux Law Firm, we don’t take a fee on the property damage claims, so there will be zero effect. No effect at all. Some personal injury firms might actually take a fee. If there is a firm that decides to take a fee on that, you may want to ask them why because what it does is it actually devalues your vehicle. So, if you listed your vehicle as worth $10,000, and it’s a very objective approach when it comes to property damage claims unlike injury claims. Let’s say your car is worth $10,000 and they take ⅓ fee, or 25% fee. That is $2,500 or $3,333 that you don’t have to spend on that vehicle, so you may want to make sure you keep that in mind whenever you’re looking for an attorney.
Most do not actually take fees. I know some that do, and most do not take fees on property damage claims, so I hope that answers the question of how attorneys fees affect property damage claim. In most scenarios it does not.
