If I don’t have auto insurance, can I still collect on an auto accident claim if I wasn’t at fault?
Tyson Mutrux describes in this video, If you don’t have auto insurance can you still collect on an auto accident claim if you weren’t at fault?
Tyson Mutrux: Hi, Tyson Mutrux here with the Mutrux Law Firm. Today I’m answering the question of if I don’t have insurance, can I still recover on an auto accident claim. The answer to that question is yes but only if one, you’re not at fault and two, for actual damages. If you do not have insurance in Missouri, you cannot recover for pain and suffering. So you want to make sure that if you’re driving around the Missouri, you have insurance because your personal injury claim, that’s your pain and suffering, it’s completely gone. All you can get are for your property damages and your medical bills and that’s it.
