Should I contact an attorney before I sign the insurance adjuster’s release?
Attorney Greg Klote describes in this video whether you should sign the insurance adjuster’s release before speaking to an attorney.
This is Greg Klote here with the Mutrux Law Firm and today we’re going to talk about, “Should I contact an attorney before I sign a release?”
Well the obvious answer is, yes. The reason is the insurance companies like to give you a quick amount of money to settle your property damage and your injury case. They like for you to sign the release, be done with the claim, close the claim, and everything is over. Now, the problem is once you sign the release you can not go back and get more money. When you talk to an attorney they can determine if the value that the insurance company is offering is the right compensation for your claim.
