What to do if you’ve been injured after getting vaccinated for the Measles Virus

Attorney Tyson Mutrux describes in this video what to do if you’ve been injured after getting vaccinated for the Measles Virus

Hi! Tyson Mutrux here with the Mutrux Law Firm. Today I want to talk to you about what to do if you’ve been injured after taking a vaccine containing the measles virus. Now the first thing you need to know is that you can only file this claim in the vaccine court, which is in federal court. You cannot file in state court.

The next thing you need to know is that attorney’s fees are actually paid on an hourly basis through the vaccine court, so it’s not something where you pay out of pocket. It’s not based upon a contingency fee like most personal injury cases, and you are also compensated out of that fund.

So, what you need to do is you need to take a look at the Vaccine Injury Table, and we talked about that in another video to see if your specific vaccine is listed, which it probably is, if it contains the measles virus.

You also need to look at and see when the symptoms must have started to show and the last time I looked at the table, it actually showed that they must have started within seven (7) days to six (6) months of actually taking the vaccine. If you’re going to proceed with a claim, make sure you look at that table.
